    Default New web site

Visitors to The Audio Insider.com have already noticed an new website and store. We're excited about this upgrade and hope you enjoy it too. We've added new content, new products, better navigation, and a more attractive shopping experience. From the new front page:

2011 was The Audio Insider's best year ever. We'd like to give back.

Thanks to you, for the last ten years The Audio Insider (TAI) has built a reputation of excellence, value, and customer service. We're appreciative, and this new website is our investment in you: audio enthusiast, valued friend, and customer.

Welcome back. Here's what's newYou'll immediately notice an enhanced browsing and shopping interface, but we've added more. We've added new products. We've added new content and photos. Navigation is improved. The TAI discount channel (for B-stock and other specials) is easier to find and use. We've branched out into social media. And we've added a lot of excitement to our brands. After you've browsed the new site, be sure to visit us in the upgraded TAI forum for more.

Swan Active Desktop Sound A popular TAI category and in it you'll find more too, including the hot new Swan H Series of modular plug-and-play desktop models and a new M15 model soon to be exclusive to The Audio Insider. It's another of our exclusive Swan models, a model only a co-developer and true audio expert like TAI can deliver.

Swan Diva Among the best values in premium, affordable home theater, Swan Diva has held the line on prices for over half a decade! Browse not fewer than ten beautiful Swan Diva models across two series, including the classic Diva 6.1 tower, an Internet favorite now in its twelfth year. Still unmatched, the Swan Diva 6.1 is an audio benchmark. Check both series: The Original Swan Diva and the second generation Swan Diva.

Custom Designs Are you a discriminating audiophile? To wring out all the definition and musicality possible, TAI has redesigned and hand-upgrades classic high end models from Swan. The Swan D2.1se+ Custom and M1 Custom - available as new loudspeakers or as upgrades to your cherished loudspeakers - really do redefine what these landmark models can do, and still for a lot less then this kind of performance costs elsewhere.

Really special Specials You expect real Internet-direct savings from us but did you know sometimes even we discount? Click over to the TAI Hot Deals forum and learn all about what's going, going, gone! In this economy you want all the value you can get.

Arx Looking for exceptional technology and a real alternative to the usual thin, dimensionless sound? Arx is growing too, and you'll find lots of interest in the Arx channel, plus a lot to discuss in the Arx forum. Hear what lots of output and lower distortion can do in a trim line of compact, ultra-value models. They're only here, they're ours, and we'd like to make them yours.

Dana Perhaps the best value in fine European-style monitors in a true American Internet-direct sales channel, Dana is radically upgraded from the days of its introduction a few years ago. Have you heard what blindingly fast drivers in a classically-tuned design sound like yet? You should. As one pro audio reviewer noted, "they give my goosebumps goosebumps"!

It's all here, from powered desktop systems under $100 to powerful home theater towers under $1,000 to reference grade stand monitors. Need more?

The best-sounding silver speaker cables and component interconnects we've ever heard are here too, the remarkable Slinkylinks cables. Hand-made (the only way they can be made) in New Zealand, TAI is very proud to feature this cable brand. Not inexpensive and not for everyone, but if you're a perfectionist who knows what virtually zero electrical reactance sounds like, you'll want to look into - and hear - Slinkylinks.

Call us on 800-992-7252, email us, and join our online community.

The new TAI is here to serve you all over again.

Jon, I have a suggestion to improve the new web design. Where you include the price in the list of speakers, add either "/pair" or "each." People new to the site or unfamiliar with the brand can easily assume that many speakers cost twice as much as they actually do.

PS I just noticed that you do this for the Swans. So this comment applies to the Arx line, where you'll get the more price-sensitive shoppers.
