Trying it out!

Ok..just placed and order for a pair of 2.1's and the C3 center. I figure that is a good place to start. I will try the 2.1's as mains along with my SVS.

I've been back and forth so many times on what to get etc....but Jon has be VERY helpful.

Basically i've been struggling with going with Ascends or the Swans...and I really dont want to fork up all the shipping to actually try both out...so, based on what I've read and comparing the C3 to the Ascend 340 center...I REALLY feel that the C3 should out perform the ascend center...so I went with the Swans for a tryout.

I'll be comparing them to my Paradigm Mini-monitors and CC-370....so I'm really hoping to hear a difference..especially with the Center Channel.

Sweet. Yeah, I have the setup you ordered. I like the 2.1s and C3 a lot.

Jon, do you guys recommend a certain amount of 'break-in' time for those who order to do comparisons? I left my 2.1s repeating on a disc during the first week while I was at work when I first got them.

Yeah I figure I'll let 'em break in before I really get critical.

However, I'll still hook 'em up right out of the box and just see how they sound compared to the Paradigms even though they aren't broken in.
