Default Can the C3 be used vertically?

I had finally nailed down that I was going to get the 6.1 reference home theatre package. But due to room constraints and WAF I am now looking at using only bookshelf speakers in the front. I am concerned that the 2.1's won't be large enough for the 20' X 20' room. Can the C3's be used vertically as the left and right? And if they can be used, will they be large enough to fill the room with sound?

    Thanks,
    Bill

Eventhough C3 might sound good when placed vertically. How would you mount it? The side of C3 is rounded. Are you going to drill holes on C3's top or bottom panel and screw it to the side of a cabinet?

I wouldn't recommend a vertical C3. The tweeter/midrange axis should be kept vertical.

Had you considered 4.1's? Fabulous musicality and plenty of output, at least compared to the 2.1, which was your second choice...

Default Jon, this is Mid-November, how's the shipment?

I really hope I can get it at Thanksgiving.

The next box is on the water and should dock in about 2.5 weeks. At the last minute we decided to double our order and that added a bit more time...

I'm really sorry for the delay. Our biggest challenge is keeping the stuff in stock.

Jack, had you ordered or were you waiting for the box to land?

jacksp, I am very, very sorry for the delay. I do have a C3 Rosewood b-stock I could lend you...and we'll refund your freight charges for the C3bc.

This sounds sweet. If my freight charges for the C3BC could get refund, that would really release some of the pains suffered during this long long waiting

I'd be happy to take care of that. Please email me at sales@theaudioinsider.com with your details.
