The M10 system is a very tight system. Out of the box, you can tell a difference in the balance compared to generic computer speakers such as Logitech. After 24 hours of straight music, the speakers really open up and sound amazing. While it may not have the window rattling base of a Logitech system, the highs and lows are extremely accurate. Music sounds amazing and the bass is super tight and doesn't wash out the music. For movies and videos, you may need to adjust the woofer to accomodate for voice, but the speakers work equally well for multimedia apart from music as well.
I would suggest keeping the woofer on the table alongside you speakers as it carries the sound better and is overall more convenient because the volume and bass knobs are connected to the woofer. The fact they look amazing is also another reason to keep the woofer visible.
The only downside I see is that there is no headphone jack, no wired remote for level adjustments and that you cannot turn off the Blue LED that surrounds the volume knob.
Overall I would highly recommend these speakers. They sound amazing and are the best speakers I own (for my computer). Swan is a really great brand and I would encourage people to try them. The M10s are a great introduction into the Brand and like me they M10s will convince you to explore more into their offerings.
